Mentor Match Program

Time: 13:30 to 15:00 PM, Nov. 2(Saturday)
Location: Kaiyan Room, 2F, InterContinental Chengdu Global Center
This program is designed to help students expand their professional networks while at the conference, gain personalized career insights, and receive guidance from senior professionals in photonics. Mentor Matches will be paired by technical interests and the matches will be communicated to attendees by the organizers before the conference starts.
Mentors and mentees will then be encouraged to connect, i.e. by email or call, prior to the conference, in order to establish plans to meet-up and connect at ACP 2019.
The scheduled meet-up for all the mentors and mentees will be 13:30 to 15:00 PM, Nov. 2(Saturday), at Kaiyan Room, 2F.
Students and researchers will be encouraged to introduce themselves.
You can talk about your personal hobbies, research topics or career goals.
Computer and projector will be available. You are welcome to prepare some slides to introduce yourself in a clear and fancy way!
How to write and review papers

Paper writing and paper reviewing are equally important skills any researcher needs. This event will provide an informal environment where young researchers can discuss with experienced paper writers, and editors of journals their top techniques for writing and reviewing papers. Also, its a great way to build your network!
